During Q3 2022, the top 5 air travel apps on iOS in Nigeria showed various trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Air Peace saw a mix of fluctuations in its weekly downloads. The app's downloads peaked at 546 in mid-July, before experiencing a downward trend in August, bottoming out at 337 in mid-September. By the end of September, the downloads slightly recovered to 394.

Qatar Airways experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at 220 downloads in late June, the app peaked at 620 downloads by late August. The active users also followed a similar upward trend, growing from 1.1K users at the end of June to around 1.8K by mid-September, before stabilizing at 1.7K towards the end of the quarter.

Ethiopian Airlines demonstrated a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 190 in late June and reaching a peak of 474 by the end of August. The active user count also showed improvement, growing from 679 in late June to over 1K by the end of September.

Wakanow: Flights, Hotels, Cars displayed a varied pattern in weekly downloads. The app began the quarter with 255 downloads and peaked at 455 in mid-August. Afterward, the downloads gradually decreased, ending the quarter with 265 downloads.

Turkish Airlines: Book Flights showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 176 in late June and peaking at 336 by the end of August. The active user base also grew steadily, from 617 in late June to 805 by the end of September.
